CS 105 Update Log

Hey guys,

My name is Anton, I’m a 3rd year computer engineering student here at IIT. I enjoy playing (but am not too good at) frisbee, basketball, and Warcraft 3. I am also a huge fan of Ruby, and have used it at work for about a year. Actually, to say I am a huge fan is probably an understatement – Ruby is by far my favorite language to program in. So hopefully as we progress through the semester you too will come to appreciate at least some its features.

Since I don’t think it was mentioned previously, http://rubycentral.com/pickaxe/builtins.html describes the core Ruby API, the resources always available to the Ruby programmer. If you have a question about some method you see in class or lab (for instance the IO.puts method you used in the first lab), this may be a good place to get an answer.
